Strabismus (Squint) Treatment

At Drashti Eye Hospital, we provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for strabismus, commonly known as squint, a condition in which the eyes are not properly aligned and may look in different directions. Strabismus can affect children as well as adults and may sometimes be associated with double vision, difficulty focusing, or reduced visual development.

Dr. Chintan Patel provides detailed eye and vision assessments to understand the type and severity of eye misalignment and recommend an appropriate treatment plan. Depending on the individual’s condition, treatment may include spectacles, vision therapy or other non-surgical approaches, and, when required, strabismus (squint) surgery.

Early evaluation is particularly important in children, as untreated squint may be associated with problems such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and can affect the development of binocular vision.
